Tabia Princewill

Tabia Princewill is a multi-faceted journalist and public policy advisor, she is currently a Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives. Her talented writing and public commentary has shown her dedication towards hosting and developing solution-oriented citizens engagement forums. As an experienced media professional, she has been committed to deep-seated change using the media to promote national conversations on our socio-economic value systems.

Tabia Princewill is passionate about citizens participation in governance and promoting best practices for political dialogue, as well as open parliaments and reforming electoral processes, mainstreaming gender equality and encouraging the adoption of a gender lens in policy formulation. She believes in people centered public policy and local communities organizing for change.

ElectHER is a non-partisan progressive women's political advancement organization bridging inequality gaps in African democracy, by advocating for and enabling women's leadership across appointive and elective office. Our mission is fulfilled through behavioural change communications; skills development, human capital mobilization and campaign financing, with an end-goal to enable capable women competitively Decide, Run and Win elections. We are on a mission to empower 1000 women to run for office and directly back '35' women by 2023.
