Zahra’u Abubakar Atiku

 Zahrau Atiku Abubakar is a Kebbi born grassroot female politician, strong community mobilizer and successful business womenwho is currently serving as the Special Adviser on Women Affairs and Social Development to the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, His Excellency, Senator Atiku Abubakar Bagudu. Zahrau Atiku Abubakar is an ardent advocate of gender equity, good governance, fairness and justice, human rights, and social/ public accountability.

Over the years, she has been able design policy on gender equity and women development as well as supporting empowerment of women and youth with skills acquisition programs including Fashion Designing, Information Communication Technology, Beads making, hairdressing, tie and dye, Plaster of Paris (POP), A.C and Refrigerator repair, Tilling and masonry, Generator repair, Electrical installations and General work and Plumbing and working tools to be self-established. She also facilitated the establishment of Skill Acquisition Center at Birnin Kebbi.
